Privacy
What this site collects.
The short version: your enquiry, and anonymous figures about how many people visit. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone who is not helping me run this.
When you send an enquiry
The enquiry form is run by Studio Ninja, the booking system I use. What you type into it goes to them and to me: your name, your partner's name, your contact details, your venue and date, and anything else you tell me. I use it to answer you and, if you book, to run your wedding. I keep it for as long as I am dealing with you and for my business records afterwards.
You can email me any time to ask what I hold about you, to correct it, or to ask me to delete it.
Visitor numbers
My hosting, Cloudflare, counts visits so I can see whether the site is working. It records the page, the rough location, the type of device and the site you arrived from. It sets no cookies and does not follow you anywhere else.
I also use Google Analytics, which does the same job in more detail and does set cookies to recognise a returning browser. It tells me things like which pages people read before enquiring. It does not tell me who you are.
If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes an opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and most ad blockers block it by default.
Things loaded from elsewhere
The site uses Google Fonts for its typefaces, and videos play through YouTube's no-cookie player, which does not track you unless you press play. The enquiry form is embedded from Studio Ninja and uses Google reCAPTCHA to keep spam out. That is the complete list. There is no advertising, no tracking pixel and no social media script anywhere on this site.
Photos and video
Couples I have played for sign a contract that includes permission to use photos and video of their wedding to promote what I do. If you are in something on this site and would rather not be, email me and I will take it down.
